Life Care Center of Farmington, a skilled nursing and rehab facility in New Mexico, was recently named a 2017-2018 U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Home.
U.S. News & World Report rates centers using data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services covering health inspections, nurse staffing and quality of care.
Life Care Center of Farmington is one of only three facilities in the state and just over 2,000 in the country that received the Best honor. Fewer than 15 percent of nursing homes nationwide received a Best rating.
“When I found out that we earned their highest rating, I was so proud,” said Jason Odenthal, executive director at the center. “We have such a good team here in Farmington, and the team has put so much work in. All facilities are only as good as the people who work in them. We are fortunate to have so many people who care.”
The facility is also ranked at five out of five stars by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
